Kevin Costner On Portraying The Physical Movement of Baseball "Field of Dreams" (1989)

Along with a Western film now and then, Kevin Costner is also known for the baseball movies in his filmography.

"I love it, but I'm not a fanatic. It just so happens that those three stories, I feel like really separate themselves. Field of Dreams separates itself easily from Bull Durham. And For Love of the Game easily separates from both of those. There's only one thing I find that actors cannot do. And that is portray sports. There's something about the physical movement of sports that you can either do it or you cannot. I took those movies because I love the game. And I knew I could portray those ideas."
